Altro Paradiso, opened in 2016 by chef and owner Ignacio Mattos, is inspired by the flavors, textures and warmth of Italian food and wine traditions. Located on a sunny corner across from Hudson Square, it takes cues from classic European bistros and New York’s neighborhood institutions. 

Altro Paradiso is currently seeking Hosts that share our passion for its cuisine, embrace a team-oriented style of service and are able to balance the nuanced demands of this dynamic position.  You will be the first point of contact for our guests, and a gracious and accommodating approach comes easily to you.

This position requires availability on weekends and holidays

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS 
1+ Year Experience in a high-calibre New York City Restaurant
Experience of using Resy or a similar platform
Excellent communication skills
Excellent inter-personal skills
Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality
Ability to learn quickly
The ability to lift 25 pounds

• Builds relationships with repeat guests. .
