Job Details
Aretsky's Patroon is a fine dinning restaurant that has been a established restaurant for more than 26 years.
This position works under the culinary direction of General Manager/Executive Chef and ownership.
Candidates should have:
-3 years minimums prior management experience
-strong pastry arts skills
-strong leadership skills and the ability to manage employees in a high-volume environment

- abilty to balance a catering menu and a la carte at the same time
• Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen, working together with the other chefs
• Prepare a variety of baked goods
• Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
• Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
• Meet with PD Departmen to discuss custom-made desserts or baked goods for special occasions
• Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations
• Identify staffing needs, help to recruit new personnel and train them
• Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends• Creativity to design new and unique menu items to attract customers
• Knowledge of how baking ingredients work together and how they can be used in creative ways
• Leadership skills to manage the pastry section and staff in a kitchen, including hiring the right staff and motivating workers in a high-stress environment
• Time management skills to deliver orders on schedule and avoiding wasting food
• Physical strength and stamina to spend long hours standing and performing repetitive motions
• Flexibility,(We work on a Monday-Friday schedule) Closed Saturday and Sunday

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($26.00 - $28.00)
