We are looking for a Bartender with sommelier knowledge and experience to join our family, someone who enjoys crafting inspired beverages and also has a deep appreciation for the classics as well.
Ideal candidates take pride in offering guests a seasonally-inspired beverage menu, mastering classic drinks, warm conversation, and can expertly pour with grace and precision.
Responsibilities and requirements include:
- Professional knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving a wide range of drink recipes and the ability to craft both classic and innovative cocktails.
- Basic sommelier knowledge is required to provide personalized wine recommendations and suggestions to guests, considering their preferences, food pairing options, and budget, to enhance their dining experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers, provide recommendations, and ensure a pleasant bar experience.
- Precision in following drink recipes and maintaining high standards of bar cleanliness and organization.
- Maintaining your area with pride, preparing garnishes, stock ice, glassware and supplies, and maintaining a pleasant experience for guest drinking and dining at the bar.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting other staff members during peak times and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy kegs or crates.
Must be available evenings and weekends, Thursday through Saturday.
Bartending experience is required.
