We are looking for servers who are true professionals who understand fine dining and how to care for our guests. They understand guest relations well and can guide our guests through all aspects of our service cycle.
Servers are the primary contact for all guests in the dining room and ensure that all aspects of the guest’s experience are performed at the necessary level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for greeting all guests and guiding them through the ordering process.
- Be able to input all beverage and food orders in the POS correctly.
- Required to mark, replace, and maintain the correct flatware and glassware.
- Proficient with guest interaction that maintains the seamlessness of service.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant’s menu, including a detailed knowledge of the menu structure and pricing, ingredients, origins, suppliers, seasonality, flavor and texture, allergy restrictions, preparation methods and limitations, presentation, history, and culture of food and dishes.
- Have an advanced and developing knowledge of wine and can guide guests through the beverage lists to provide the best wine-with-food experience.
- Drive liquor sales and need intimate knowledge of the restaurant’s bar program.
- Make informed beverage recommendations, retrieve beverages from the bar, and serve them to the correct guests.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Desire to provide exceptional service to each guest.
- You can accurately take and enter orders and communicate the flow with management and chefs.
- Knowledge of POS systems (point of sale).
- Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as business dictates.
- Under TN State regulations, you must be of legal age to serve alcohol (18 years) and have a valid TN ABC certificate.
- Knowledge of food safety.
- Organization and time management skills.

- Strong sense of teamwork and seeks to drive results through collaboration.
- Provides an excellent guest experience that builds long-term customer relationships.
- You must have knowledge, passion, and experience with wine, spirits, and beer.

The employee must regularly sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to provide and follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
