Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Executive Pastry Chef who is creative, obsessed with quality and consistency, and passionate about all things dessert.
Compensation and Benefits: A base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 with the opportunity to earn bonuses, comprehensive health, vision, dental benefits, life insurance policy, 401 (k), paid vacation, New York paid sick time, family meals, and dining discounts.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of culinary experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef in fine dining or Michelin Star restaurants
- Ability to inspire and drive performance and results of a diverse culinary workforce
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Strong administrative skills and prior experience managing the purchasing and scheduling aspects of a pastry department
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Baking and/or Pastry from a culinary school/university - preferred or equivalent work experience
