Job Description:
As a Food Runner at Joseon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of service in our restaurant. Working closely with the kitchen and serving staff, you will be responsible for delivering food orders to guests promptly and accurately, contributing to a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Delivery: Retrieve prepared food items from the kitchen and deliver them to the appropriate table in a timely manner, ensuring that orders are presented correctly and according to guest preferences.
Timing Coordination: Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure that food orders are delivered promptly and synchronized with the timing of the meal service, minimizing wait times for guests.
Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy and presentation of each food order before delivering it to the guest, ensuring that all items meet our restaurant's high standards for quality and presentation.
Table Maintenance: Assist servers in clearing and resetting tables as needed, ensuring that dining areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing for incoming guests.
Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to any requests or inquiries promptly and courteously. Anticipate guest needs and proactively address any concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to facilitate efficient communication and teamwork, contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all aspects of food delivery and table maintenance, always adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
