Position: Pastry Cook

Position Description:

As a Pastry Cook you will be responsible for baking a wide variety of desserts and baked goods
including cakes, pastries, and ice cream while maintaining high quality standards and
presentation. This role involves performing baking techniques, and following recipes. With our
menu constantly changing, we are always developing new ideas in order to meet the culinary
needs of the establishment.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

● Prepare pastry and desserts with consistent quality using recipes provided
● Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set-up
● Ensure stock is sufficient for each shift
● Stock and maintain sufficient levels of product at line station to ensure a smooth service
● Manage order list to ensure availability of ingredients are sufficient to execute pars
● Communicate with clearly with team members and Executive Chef
● Maintain and set up a clean and sanitary work station at all times


● Regular attendance to be upheld with company standards and is essential to be
successful in this position. Employees who do not follow regular attendance will be
subject to disciplinary action which may include termination of employment.
● May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday
work may be required for business needs
● Upon successful employment, employees are required to comply with company rules
and regulations. Any employee who violates the rules and regulations can be subject to
disciplinary action which may turn into termination.

Physical activities and requirements of this position:

● Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
● Ability to lift at least 50 lb on a regular basis
● Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending,
climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
● Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the
● Ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges

Qualifications & Standards:

● Education: Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred
● Experience required: at least 3 years of experience

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $23.00)
