Do you have a passion for wine and a desire to learn from the best?

We are seeking an experienced part-time wine sales person to join our team and train alongside renowned WSET instructor, Nick Dumergue. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable industry knowledge and experience while earning pay and discounted access to incredible wines. Nick is also a Master of Wine candidate and and International Wine Judge - it's a perfect opportunity for someone that has some good starting knowledge of wine with a desire to take it to the next level.

As an added bonus, our customers are truly wonderful. The store is highly community-oriented and we offer tons of educational and entertaining wine-oriented events.

About the Role:

• Assist customers in selecting wines based on their preferences and budget.
• Maintain the store's cleanliness standards, organization, labelling of product
• Assist with in-store and off-site events
• Learn from Nick Dumergue, a WSET instructor, through hands-on experience and personalized guidance.
• Increase your knowledge and understanding of wine regions, varietals, and production methods.
• Options to participate in staff tastings and educational classes to deepen your knowledge.
• Contribute to a fun and engaging work environment.

Qualifications:

• WSET Level II minimum
• Enthusiasm for wine and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
