Milk & Pull Coffee Roaster's is currently looking to fill multiple BOH kitchen staff positions to help us grow our kitchen concept across both locations. We are hiring for line cooks and kitchen leaders. Depending on the role, we can be flexible for part-time or full-time work.
We want to hear from:
-Line cooks and/or those with previous BOH experience who can execute our current lineup & work shifts at our cafes.
-Kitchen leaders who have experience leading a kitchen and want to stretch their culinary wings by developing new items that tie into our space.
All candidates for any position should have previous experience working in a kitchen setting and can adhere to safety guidelines set by NYCDOH
Day to Day BOH Line work (including but not limited to)
-Executing current menu of bagel sandwiches, toasts and bowls.
-Dishwashing, porting, bussing and cleaning kitchen equipment
-Prepping cream cheeses, jams, dressings, etc.
-Cooking Breakfast/lunch items (ex: eggs, bacon, potatoes, grains)
-Cleaning work area: refrigerators, freezers, floors, sinks, storage area
-Inventory intake and waste management assessment
Physical Demands essential to performing the job (including but not limited to):
Standing, bending, continual reaching and grabbing with hands/arms for 8+ hours at a time
Hand-eye coordination, knife skills and full digit mobility including repetitive hand movements
Lifting 25 llbs daily
Traveling up and down stairs
