Position Summary:
- The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations of the business. This includes the development, planning, and implementation of standards and procedures for restaurant-level operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure operational excellence and oversee the service floor to uphold the standards set by the leadership team
- Execute training plans for new hire and ongoing development.
- Assist in development of front of house systems and standard operating procedures.
- Drive service standards, guest experience and culture of excellence through hand’s- on, in-person leadership, and guest interaction.
- Oversee maintenance plan so restaurants run efficiently and look beautiful.
- Assist with beverage and dry goods inventory
- Uphold all company values and be a cultural leader and example for all staff.
- Maintain high level of communication standards with leadership, staff, and guests.
- Other duties as required by the business.
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Advanced understanding of restaurant operations with minimum 1-2 years leadership experience in high volume environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems big and small on an enterprise level as well as one on one with staff.
- Proficiency with common computer programs, (ie: Word, Excel, etc), email, and with restaurant POS systems.
- Experienced and thorough understanding of accounting and budgeting processes, including materials, direct and indirect labor, and overheads.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, planning and communication skills.
