We are seeking an experienced and passionate Saute Chef de Partie to join The Le Crocodile team in our flagship restaurant on the ground floor of The Wythe. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, positive, and skilled cook. 

Saute Cooks should have open availability and a desire to work the busiest services (the weekend!).  Applicants should have two years of previous experience cooking a saute station at an equivalent high level.   All cooks in Le Crocodile must have a drive to cook and learn about delicious food, show passion about working with a team, and have an eye for detail.  


  • Maintain constant and clear communication amongst all team members
  • Displays and acts in the kitchen with leadership
  • Produces delicious food to the level expected by our kitchen and exceeds that of the guest
  • Pushes cleanliness and sanitation of culinary spaces and equipment from start to finish of each shift, and is considerate of whomever is coming in next
  • Is keen to live and cook french food, and is driven to learn more
  • Open to receiving feedback and is driven to improve daily 
  • Practices technique to produce food that you, and the team are proud of
  • Understands that your work is a direct reflection of your respect for yourself, the team, our  kitchen, and culinary tradition 
  • Is always willing to jump in and help all members of our team including all cooks and dishwashers and also not excluding assisting our dining room teams as well
