CLOVER HILL IS HIRING FRONT OF THE HOUSE STAFF

Located on a leafy, cobblestone block in the heart of the Brooklyn Heights Historic District, Clover Hill is an intimate, 20-seat restaurant by its three partners Clay Castillo, Gabriel Merino and Executive Chef Charlie Mitchell.

Clover Hill seeks to blend the best elements of old and new school fine dining. We are focused on fish and shellfish and we believe that eating should be fun.

Clover Hill is open 5 days a week for dinner, currently serving 8-10 course tasting menu.

What are we looking for? We are looking for experienced CAPTAINS/SERVERS who are passionate, can work under pressure, and with high atention to detail.

Experience in a comparable restaurant setting is required. 
Wine knowledge and a deep level of food knowledge are also required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stays guest-focused and nurtures an excellent Guest experience.
• Assesses customers’ needs and preferences and makes recommendations.
• Maintains a visible presence at the bar and regular guest interaction during business periods.
• Maintains knowledge of menu cuisine, wine list, special items, etc. featured in the restaurant.

Education and Experience

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Server position of a comparable restaurant or establishment is required.
