Continued support of the wine program; working with GM on purchasing, monthly wine inventory, provide wine training as well as tools and resources for staff wine education.

The AGM assists the GM in responding positively and quickly to guest inquiries and concerns. They correct potential problems as soon as they arise in hopes to remedy a situation swiftly and proactively. This includes issues that come up both during and after service (receipt copy requests, donation requests, neighbor complaints, fielding complaints/feedback, etc.)

The AGM assists the GM in hiring high quality people who demonstrate and ensure consistent guest satisfaction, strong work ethic, excellent team skills with knowledge and interest in food and wine. This process includes but is not limited to- posting ads, scheduling and leading interviews, calling references, setting up stages, preparing and updating training schedules, onboarding, orientation and doing new hire check ins.

The AGM assists the GM in maintaining the restaurant at the level necessary to meet or exceed the company standards for Quality, Service and Cleanliness.

Assists the GM with maintaining an A grade from the Health Department and keeping up with all Health Department standards. The AGM will do weekly HD walkthroughs and report any issues to the GM.

Assists the GM with scheduling and staffing to maintain the highest level of cost effective service. The AGM must have a full understanding of 7-shifts, approve or deny any employee shift trades.

Assists the GM with menu changes and POS management including menu keys, tablet updates, website upkeep and ensuring staff is properly informed and quizzed.

The AGM must always have an active floor presence and assists the GM with ensuring proper coverage and smooth service despite day or time. This sometimes requires the AGM and GM to jump into positions when necessary.

The AGM scans and codes invoices to PlateIQ and ensures this entire process is timely and organized as well as assist in inputting data in the Weekly Performance Spreadsheet.

The AGM helps the GM with the organization and management of supplies and non-food related inventories. Making sure the store remains stocked with necessary items, such as printer paper and ribbon, plates, flatware, glassware, etc. In addition, the AGM should ensure the office is kept clean and fully stocked with office supplies/tools.

Assists with payroll when the GM is unavailable and has a full understanding of the stores labor goals and budget. The AGM should review and understand financial information and monthly profit and loss statements and attend monthly P&L meetings. The AGM alongside the GM must run the most efficient and cost effective operation within the annual budget.

Assists the GM with preparing and leading staff and lead meetings. The AGM continuously improves the skills, knowledge and morale of all employees. They treats the employees with dignity and respect; creates an environment where the entire team does the same.
