Hello DC!
We are Namak. A Mediterranean restaurant with a focus on Mediterranean, Turkish, & Persian cuisine new to the Adams Morgan neighborhood. We are looking for a strong opening house team to help build a productive & vibrant environment. If you are someone who enjoys being part of a brand-new build & making your mark on an already wonderful neighborhood, we would love to have you!

Our expectations: we are looking for people who pride themselves on their guest-facing ability & an appreciation for international cuisine, cocktails & wine with a growth mindset. We are currently dinner Tuesday-Sunday. As well as brunch coming soon! Both part-time & full-time positions are available.

Our needs include but are not limited to:

Floor Manager - Minimum 3 years experience. Must be available weekends, including Sundays. Salary based on experience.

Weekend/Brunch Bartenders - Minimum 3 years experience, must be available all weekend Saturday & Sunday as well as on-call opportunities available. Full-time & part-time starting wage $30-40/hr (based on experience).

Weekend/Brunch Servers - Minimum 3 years experience. Part-time starting wage $30-40/hr (based on experience).

Weekend/Brunch Support - Minimum 1 year experience. Part-time starting wage $17-20/hr (based on experience).

The name "Namak" derives from the Persian word for salt, symbolizing the significance of simple and seasonal ingredients that form the backbone of the Levantine, Greek, North African, and Persian dishes served at Namak. Emphasizing the value of freshness, our menu boasts a delightful array of breads, kebabs, mezes, and specialty drinks – each crafted daily in-house, ensuring an authentic experience for our patrons.

Stepping into Namak, guests are transported to the enchanting ambiance of the Mediterranean, as every corner of the restaurant exudes the region's aesthetic charm. The interior design, a collaborative effort between Michael Mason of Nahra Design and John Cidre, captures the allure of the Mediterranean with a touch of contemporary elegance. Delightful decorations, thoughtfully sourced from local artisans across the Mediterranean and Washington DC, lend an authentic and artistic touch to the space.
