Michelin starred Chef is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager /Assistant General Manager for one of their acclaimed concepts! This chef-owned, New Indian Cuisine restaurant features both a la carte or coursed menu options. Candidates must have a high-level knowledge of food and wine along with experience ordering, managing inventory and wine costs. A true passion with the ability to teach and develop a team is very important.

Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager /Assistant General Manager in full service, moderate to high volume restaurants.
Proficient with computers, POS and technology.Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and financial acumenProfessional verbal and written communication with guests, employees, vendors, and ownership.
Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
