About the Restaurant: AP Shaw is a warm and welcoming upscale casual Italian American spot in the heart of Shaw. Job Description: We are seeking experienced servers to join our team. All employees are responsible for knowing the menu, food, cocktails (classics and original signature), wine, and beer to help our guests. You will also need to be able to greet tables promptly, use the Toast POS, correctly enter orders (marking any dietary restrictions or allergies) and side work (prepping the restaurant for service and leaving it clean and ready to go for the next shift). You will also be trained in Resy (our reservation system). 

Responsibilities:
Be knowledgeable about the food/drink menu and be prepared to help guests with any questions/requests
Create and maintain an AUTHENTICALLY welcoming and energetic atmosphere
Maintain cleanliness and organization
Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
Ensure accuracy of orders and deliver them in a timely manner
Uphold all state and local laws and regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages
Work closely with other members of the restaurant team to ensure exceptional service for our guests

Requirements: 

Two years of serving experience is expected
Basic knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, and beer (and the ability and desire to learn more)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team focused. 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and team work (we are a pooled house)
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Familiarity with state and local laws and regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Be at least 21 years of age.
