Full Service Hotel, Luxury Hotel
Part of The Columns
Hotel Henrietta is an extension of Columns, the storied 18-room hotel with extensive event spaces located just down the street. Columns was originally built in 1883 by Thomas Sully as a private residence for Simon Hernsheim, a wealthy tobacco merchant and philanthropist. As a nod to Hernsheim, Sandstone named their new raw bar in the French Quarter, Fives, after the old-fashioned slang for a five-pack of cigars. Tying the three properties together, the name Hotel Henrietta is a reference to Hernsheim’s sister. In total, Columns, Fives, and Hotel Henrietta feature 60 guest rooms, two full-service restaurants & bars helmed by Executive Chef Paul Terrebonne, and multiple event spaces for weddings, private events, and business meetings.
