Affiliated with STARR Restaurants, Pastis Miami, the expansive 8,000-square-foot restaurant, inclusive of a stunning outdoor space with an enclosed pergola, adorned by black locust, welcomes guests to enjoy exceptional French fare no matter the weather. The interior includes many design elements that the original location is known and loved for, such as a curved zinc bar, white subway tiles, red banquettes, vintage mirrors with handwritten daily specials, and mosaic-tiled floors.

Leading our culinary team is Executive Chef Neil O’Connell. Chef Neil brings a depth of culinary expertise, having worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and brasseries in the United Kingdom to revered Miami hotspots, Fontainebleau, and national oversight with hospitality group SBE.  

We are currently seeking a Sous Chef who is interested in working with a large, collaborative, cohesive culinary unit executing amazing French fare made with high-quality ingredients and integrity.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience in high volume, fast-paced, culinarily driven kitchens 
  • Prior experience training and leading a large hourly culinary team 
  • Passion for training and development of others 
  • Attention to details of food quality, preparation, and presentation 
  • Flexible and adaptive to rapidly changing priorities and work demands
  • Strong written and computer skills
