Primary Responsibilities:

Sets-up, maintains and breaks down assigned station
Works assigned station to meet or exceed all standards of performance including following all recipes, instructions and directions on preparing food, dishes, meals, etc.
Ensures that work station and equipment are clean and sanitary
Adheres to state and local health and food safety regulations
Assist with other duties as assigned

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:

Knowledge of basic culinary fundamentals and all line positions
Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background/criminal history check

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Required to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds
Continuous repetitive motions
Work in hot, humid and noisy environment

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED
1 year or more of related experience or training
Food safety certification a plus
