Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Hostess at our hotel restaurant. The Hostess will be responsible for warmly greeting guests, managing reservations, seating guests, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all patrons. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations, including taking bookings, confirming reservations, and maintaining an organized reservation system.
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, ensuring it is welcoming for guests.
- Coordinate with manager to ensure efficient seating and service.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure all guests are receiving exceptional service.
- Assist with special events or functions hosted in the restaurant as needed.
- Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Help with processing take-out orders if stationed in downstairs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills.
- A friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional service to guests.
