Seeking pastry chef for south street restaurant group
We are a successful, 40+ year family owned restaurant on south street seeking a pastry chef to execute menu items in both of our restaurants: Bridget Foy’s and Cry Baby Pasta. The responsibilities include the following:
-Create and execute dessert menus for both restaurants (approved by our executive chef). Must include items for people of all diets (ex: gluten free, vegan, nut free)
-Create one weekend special at each place weekly
-Order items
-Keep pastry inventory organized
-Train employees how to plate and store items
-Extrude pasta
This position is an AM position. You will prep the items and train the staff how to execute, store, and plate the items in the evening. Applicant will be required to do a small tasting for the executive chef and owners.
