Job Description:

As an Event Sales Manager you will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of our BK event program at Rule of Thirds and Sunday In Brooklyn. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, build relationships, and convert prospects into delighted clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including bringing on a past client list, networking, referrals, online marketing, attending networking events, etc. 

  2. Client Walkthroughs: Meet with clients and event planners to understand their event visions and preferences. Provide expert advice and recommendations to help them make informed decisions.

  3. Proposal Development: Create customized proposals that align with the client's vision, budget, and needs. Ensure that all details are thoroughly and professionally outlined.

  4. Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and services to secure new business. Work closely with clients to ensure a seamless process.

  5. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Stay in contact throughout the planning process.

  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with the events team, FOH and BOH teams to pass off a seamless execution of events, overseeing all logistics and details.

  7. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings to continuously improve the company's services and adapt to changing client preferences.

  8. Onsite Presence: Show up onsite for day-of presence to greet the client and planners, and seemlessly pass off the client to the FOH team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in event sales, catering sales, or hospitality sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Tripleseat is a plus. 
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to make each event unforgettable.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($90,000.00 - $120,000.00)
