Job Details:
- Work with the Executive Chef to produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurant’s policy and vision
- Inspire new dishes which appeal to the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef whenever required
- Discover talented chefs and train them in order to reach the high standards of the location
- Train the auxiliary kitchen staff in order to provide best results in minimum time and using the maximum available resources
- Supervise, order and maintain standards in the kitchen during working hours
- Maintain purchasing, inventory, and food cost standards
Requirements:
- 2+ years minimum of experience as a sous chef
- 2+ years management experience required
- A passion for food and service
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Capability to teach and mentor others
- Needs Food Safety Certificate
- Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
