Exposure to working in a busy restaurant setting preferred
Experience with Resy (or alternate reservation systems) preferred
Availability must include some nights and weekends
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests, creating memorable first impressions
- Seating guests and distributing menus
- Answering phones with proper phone ettiquette
- Taking reservations and managing books
- Communicating wait times and maintaining wait-list during service
- Managing server maps and updating table statuses
- Other tasks as allocated by the management including light cleaning, santizing and organization of host stand
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Effectively communicate fluently in English; both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.

The Host must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and able to safely lift and easily maneuver items such as plates, product, and cases of water, wine or dry goods.
