Job Details

B&G Oysters is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to join their team. The team at B&G is tenured and capable and works very well together. It is a great place to work!

B&G Oysters is a busy neighborhood restaurant open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner in the South End neighborhood of Boston. They offer outdoor patio seating,  indoor dining, and occasional takeout.

The Chef de Cuisine will ideally have at least 3 years experience in seafood cuisine. 2 or more years in fine dining is a plus. The CDC will be able to run raw bar, fry, garde manger, and protein stations and be responsible for ordering, food cost, inventory management, scheduling, facilities, payroll, and direct operating expenses. A culinary degree and certifications in Serv Safe and MA Food Allergen training are preferred.

This is a full time position offering a competitive salary and benefits.

Weekend availability is a must as well as evenings. Conversational Spanish is a plus.
