Argot is in search of Support Staff for our team. Our support staff assist our team with floor support as well as food running as defined below. If you are a positive team player with an interest in wine, we would love to meet you.
Food Runner :
- Runs food to guests and keeps on top of table maintenance.
- Informs the guests of the food items being delivered to their table with proper drop lines.
- Verifies any food delivered is accurate and quality checks to see if the guests have any immediate needs.
- Supports the front of house team in all aspects of service.
- Communicates with the kitchen to manage timing of courses, any guest feedback, etc.
Server Assistant :
- Maintains warmth and hospitality in all correspondence with guests
- Complete opening and closing side work checklist for shift daily
- Set up dining room according to step-by-step guide and specifics laid out in the service manual
- Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning and setting tables; Setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, plates and utensils
- Work with the rest of the service team to ensure that the dining room is fully set up in time, offering help to teammates as necessary
- Maintains tables by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses and being alert to guest needs
- Supports wait staff by continually replenishing silver and china, condiments, trash containers, and clearing bus stations
- Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; Sweeping and/or vacuuming floors, removing trash and recyclables from the facility
