atta girl is seeking a passionate professional to join our team as General Manager.
Drawing on the legacies of celebrated restaurants Table, Donkey and Stick and Cafe Marie-Jeanne, atta girl focuses on elevated bistro standards, as well as house-made charcuterie, cured & smoked fish, meat, and poultry, and other old world specialties.
Strong candidates must have past experience with all aspects of managing a high volume restaurant, including ordering, inventory, scheduling, training, and managing guest interaction. We are looking for a candidate who is creative, has a positive attitude, communicates well with others, and thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The GM will work directly with the owner and BOH management team to manage all aspects of operations. The right candidate will be passionate about great food, beverage, and hospitality, and be a great team player and communicator.
Qualified candidates MUST posses:
- A passion for the hospitality industry with at least 3 years of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Deep knowledge and love of food, beer, wine and spirits
- Experience and aptitude in managing a large team of employees
- Knowledge of ordering, inventory, costing, and all aspects of managing a beverage program
- Experience in hiring, training and scheduling FOH staff
- Ability to perform daily financial procedures
