Peak is seeking for a Barback to join our Team.
Peak is a premium restaurant located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards; in a State-of-the-Art building with panoramic views and situated above Edge the highest outdoor observation deck in the city. A luxurious destination with breath-taking views of lower New York City.
We are looking for personality, passion and presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean glassware, etc.
- Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer etc.
- Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly
- Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles
- Learning about menu items and cocktail recipes
- Experience as a barback preferred
- Minimum age to serve alcohol
- Courteous, friendly personality and professional appearance
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Responsible, punctual
- Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($12.80) plus tips
