What you bring to the table
- Cares deeply about the final product that is presented to clients
- Has a passion for food, ingredients, and R&D for new recipes and menu items
- Helps improve current processes, optimizing/writing standard operating procedures where appropriate
- Supervises and manages the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen
- Leads the kitchen and maintains quality control on taste, communicates, while being a team player
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes with the ability to execute them to company standard, while maintaining taste consistency
- Possesses general knowledge of the venue, service style, and creates relationships with front of house
- Brings ideas to the table for how we can continue to optimize and improve
- Performs opening, prep, and closing work/plans as prescribed
- Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management
- Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members
- Knowledge of Asian, Korean, and Chinese cuisine - knowledge of language, and culture is a +++
