Seeking dedicated pastry cooks!

Good Ambler is a high volume bakery cafe in the heart of Fulton Market / West Loop.  We have a full menu of coffee and tea beverages, along with a robust and ever-changing range of breakfast pastries, sweets, and handcrafted chocolates.  We are open 7 days a week with steady business throughout the week servicing the adjacent office building and long lines on weekends.

You will be responsible for all products associated with the designated station and maintaining the quality and cleanliness of your work space.

We produce a wide range of viennoiserie and breakfast pastries, cookies, brownies, bars, and other desserts, and a full range of chocolates and confections.  The person in this position will start with the general pastry and dessert items and have room to grow into the baker/lamination and chocolate stations.  We are a small but mighty team - hard work and a willingness to be flexible and learn new skills is very important!  We work closely together but also each have our own tasks to get done and need to be able to focus independently.
