We are seeking passionate, purposeful cashiers to join our new team at Park Slope, Brooklyn. We expect you to have an out-going personality with excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and within a team, and always maintain a positive mentality when facing everyday challenges.

Fulltime and parttime are both welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Educate customers on our menus of baked goods and drinks, making recommendations based on their preferences, answer customer questions regarding ingredients
• Take retail orders while paying attention to details, serve beverages, receive and process payments (cash and credit cards), resolve guest questions with care
• Keep the counter area clean, maintain stock of service supplies, comply with health and safety regulations

Skills

• Previous food, beverage experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food allergies and restrictions
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
• Knowledge of sanitation regulation
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school diploma; Minimum 18 years old to apply
