Job Details

We are looking for a COOK SERVER for a daytime position with flexibility Monday – Sunday with a 9:30am start time and end time between 5-6pm. We are particularly looking for someone who is avaiable to cover Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday shifts with more shifts available through the week should there be interest. 

This position is unique and requires you to know basic cooking and prepping skills over serving skills which we can teach and train you. This job requires daily food prep.


HUSO is a fine casual dining room located within Marky’s Caviar highlighting gourmet products available in our retail shop, created by Chef Buddha Lo.

  • Huso serves lunch daily working with classic dishes emphasized with a gourmet twist.
  • Lunch is served Monday – Sunday 11am-5pm where Chef Buddha curated an a la carte tasting menu highlighting popular classics with a culinary twist, traditional caviar service and other fine foods.

*HUSO has been featured on the Michelin Plate in 2020, 2021 & 2022 additionally Michelin has named HUSO Top 6 most romantic restaurants in NYC in 2022.

*Executive Chef Buddha Lo won TOP CHEF Season 19 and Season 20 World All Stars. 

We're looking for someone who is passionate about food, gourmet products and caviar especially with a caviar heavy based menu. We want to provide every guest with a thoughtful, warm service. We are a small staff, so it is important that everyone works together and has a willingness to help out with whatever needs to be done. This position is demanding, with a serious approach first class to customer service, quality of product and food. All team members wear multiple hats challenging your ability to multitasks and delegate thus providing a lot of room to grow within our company. 

  • Tips are shared amongst servers on staff

The key factor is that our dining space and retail shop are adjoining, and all employees are responsible in being able to serve tables, take care of retail and do minor food prep. 

 
 Job Type: Part-time 

We are closed on most major holidays: Christmas Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day

Lunch Shift: 9:30am - 5 pm / Sunday 9:30 – 6pm

HUSO located on 81st and Madison Avenue, is a fine casual caviar restaurant located inside Marky’s Caviar retail shop. Chef Buddha Lo, Top Chef Season 19 Winner and former Eleven Madison Park and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay London alum, applies contemporary techniques to execute opulent dishes highlighting caviar with every course, including dessert.

HUSO is open for lunch Monday through Sunday 11am - 5pm where you can enjoy a traditional caviar service accompanied by an a la carte menu.

In the evening, the dining room serves an 8-course tasting menu of a one time 7pm seating serving guests from Wednesday through Saturday.

Reservations are required for our tasting menu, but we are able to accommodate a traditional caviar and beverage service for walk-ins at our window table.
