Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Service Manager to lead our upscale dining establishment. As a pivotal member of our management team, the Service Manager will ensure exceptional customer service, maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, and oversee the smooth operation of front-of-house activities. Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:
- Set exemplary customer service standards and ensure all staff members uphold these standards.
- Greet guests warmly, handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively, and ensure prompt resolution.
- Monitor service levels and guest satisfaction through regular rounds and feedback collection.
- Foster a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere to enhance the overall dining experience.

Staff Management and Training:
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labor costs.
- Foster teamwork and a positive work environment among staff members.

Operational Oversight:
- Ensure smooth operation of all front-of-house activities, including seating, reservation management, and order taking.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the dining area, bar, and restrooms.
- Oversee inventory management for front-of-house supplies, including linens, tableware, and bar supplies.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.

Financial Management:
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
- Control costs through efficient inventory management, labor scheduling, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including sales projections, budget variances, and profitability metrics.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales and increase profitability.

Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and alcohol service laws.
- Maintain accurate records of employee certifications, permits, and licenses as required by law.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards and maintenance issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in restaurant management, preferably in upscale or fine dining establishments.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in food safety and alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS) is a plus.
