Umaga Bakehouse is looking for a candidate who is willing to work as a team member that can work in a positive and fast-paced working environment.

Duties:

• Must believe in quality and consistency and is responsible for presentation of baked goods, pastries and/or desserts.
• Must prepare daily preparation and production.
• Available to have flexible schedule to work a variation of hours, shifts, including weekends.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with management and team members to follow written and spoken directions (from management) to properly perform duties, i.e. daily production, bakery orders, inventory.
• Reviews production tasks for the day to determine quantity of baked goods to prepare, bake, cook, and/or wrap.
• Able to lift 50#.
• Comply to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures to keep a clean, healthy and safe working environment.
• Must be able to safely and effectively use and operate all necessary kitchen equipment and tools, including knives.
• Keep stations always clean and organized.
• Assists fellow team members as needed or when business needs dictates.
• Must have a valid food handler certificate prior to start date.
