The exciting Chelsea restaurant Shukette has been heralded by The NY Times for its "extroverted, generous spirit" and an approach to Middle Eastern Cooking that is long "overdue in New York." Led by Chef Ayesha Nurdjaja, a 2022 James Beard Award finalist for Best New Chef: New York, Shukette has been recognized as one of the top new restaurants in the city.

Shukette is part of The Bowery Group, responsible for neighborhood favorites Cookshop, Rosie’s, Shuka and Vic’s. We are looking for experienced Hosts that likes fast paced environments along with great energy!

work-ethic. Our ideal candidates will bring genuine passion for service, hospitality, and enjoy working

● Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
● Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table
● Giving guests accurate wait time estimates
● Responsible for knowing restaurant and company information, including, but not limited to, hours of operations, directions, awareness of neighborhood, and sister properties.
● Be aware of regular guests/VIPs
● Organized and efficient
● Excellent communicator with the bar, service, kitchen and management staff.
● Understand all of the restaurants main dining room seating and configurations
● Understanding that we require a positive and professional attitude in the workplace
