Craftsmanship at its finest is displayed at Sushi Noz, where guests experience our seasonal omakase menu curated nightly by Chef Nozomu Abe. Known as "Noz" to his friends, Abe-san is part of a movement from Japan advancing Edomae-style sushi, incorporating aging and preparation techniques that date back to Japan's Edo period. Noz 17 our second location, in NYC's Meatpacking District, has also been awarded at Michelin Star. Our third location in Los Angeles will open at the beginning of 2024.
The right candidate must:
- Take pride in being part of a small team that works closely together to coordinate a superlative guest experience
- Have experience as a kitchen chef, involved in receiving fish and in kitchen prep and versed in food safety and hygiene.
- Commit to working with precision and attention to detail
- Be ready and willing to immerse themselves in a culture of intense technique-driven preparation methods rooted in hundreds of years of culinary tradition
Experience with Japanese culinary traditions is always welcome, but not required. All applicants who fit the above description are welcome to apply.
Candidates for our Los Angles location must be open to lving and training in New York for a few months.
