Patisserie Chanson's location on the Upper east Side is hiring! 
is right off of the iconic 72nd street station.
We are seeking a self-motivated barista leader to join our team! Provides warm, knowledgeable service to guests. 

Responsibilities

• Executes Bakery-quality coffees and espresso drinks.
• Is proficiant in Dailing in a manuel expresso machine
• Makes drinks precisely and consistently. 
• Maintains warmth and hospitality in all correspondence with guests
• Complete opening and closing side work checklist for shift daily
• Take orders from guests, ensuring 100% accuracy when entering orders into POS
• Process guest payments in timely, accurate manner
• Process financials on shift-by-shift basis, including submitting accurate cash sales
• Accurately report cash and credit card tips and contribute to tip pool as applicable
• Maintain sanitation to DOH standards; Keep work area clean and organized
• Be a team player—support and assist your fellow team members whenever possible
• Complete other duties as assigned by management 
• Running food to table and preparing food for delivery orders.
• Bussing and resetting tables
• Setting up and restocking all stations for pre-service.
• Restocking ice, glassware through out service.
• Must be able to lift and carry glass racks, ice buckets and dishes.

Skills & Requirements

• 2 year minimum experience as a Barista
• MUST have NYC's Food protection license
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time
• Performs other duties as requested by the Café Director & Manager.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Keep Chef informed of any special dietary needs and special requests
• Observant to Guest needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service
