Sullivan St. Bakery is seeking a Sales Representative to join our Team! We are a Roman-inspired bakery specializing in rustic sourdough loaves.  We operate 2 retail bakery cafes in Manhattan, and deliver wholesale baked goods to 300+ restaurants, hotels, cafes and catering companies in the area.  This position is comission based and hybrid in person and remote.  Sales Representatives are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our clients, and for introducing our product line to potential clients.  The ideal candidate is passionate about food and excited to build community around great bread.

Responsibilities:

• Generating new sales leads
• Enter client orders into our production management software
• Customer service for assigned accounts, including but not limited to: mantaining standing orders, order entry, delivery tracking
• Maintaining client relationships through regular check-ins
• Tracking and reporting sales data
• Delivering and review samples and sales materials in person
• Clear and concise professional communication, both verbal and written
• In depth knowledge not only of the product line, but also potential uses of all products

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food sales is required
• Strong organizational as well as sound computer skills is critical, experience with Flexibake is a plus
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Desirable bachelor’s degree
• Open availability, including weekends, holidays, early mornings and overnight is a MUST
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and take directions, work as a team player, both on and off-site
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Driver's license in good standing
