Now hiring for an Executive Chef to run a highly anticipated authentic modern Mexican restaurant, located in the 12 South neighborhood. We are looking for hard working individuals who truly enjoy working in the hospitality business and want to be a part of our team. We are looking for a strong candidate who has a passion for great food, is well organized and can lead a team. Must have a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading a strong culinary experience with staff members, a great palate, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work with ease under high pressure situations.
Required Experience:
- Must have at least 2-5 years of experience, in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant (REQUIRED)
- Able to manage and count inventory
- Understanding of food and labor cost
- Able to understand and process invoices
- Must be able to manage a staff, be a leader and take a lead
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Running a line during service
- Assist in food prep
- Communication with the team (FOH & BOH) throughout service
- Overseeing staff and ensuring proper execution
- Staff development through positive and negative feedback
- Ongoing menu development
