Job Description: Kitchen Manager - Sourdough Breakfast Restaurant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at a bustling breakfast restaurant that specializes in sourdough baking. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest level of food quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
1. Kitchen Operations Management:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, baking, and plating.
- Ensure adherence to standardized recipes, portion control, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies.

5. Cost Control and Budgeting:
- Monitor food and labor costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency.
- Implement effective portion control measures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with management to develop and manage the kitchen budget.
- Seek out cost-effective ingredient alternatives without sacrificing quality or taste.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar leadership role in a breakfast or bakery setting.
- In-depth knowledge of sourdough baking techniques and breakfast cuisine.
- Strong culinary skills, with the ability to create and execute innovative menu items.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
