We are looking for an outstanding Host to join our team!
This position is five days a week!
Tentative schedule:
Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday : 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Friday & Saturday : 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Required:
One + year Hosting, with high volume service.
Two + years in the restaurant service industry
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Fine dining standards of service and knowledge.
Ensure tables and floors are set and ready for service.
Maintain thorough working knowledge of menus and be able to articulate to guests in an engaged and thoughtful manner.
The ability to know when to help the team with some bussing and running food when needed and help maintain the front area, to help keep and maintain a welcoming environment
Transfer important information between the guests and front of staff i.e. guest concerns or requests from guests
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Ascertains their dining/lodging needs.
- Seats guests and manages the seating chart.
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
- Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
