Job Title: Event Server
Reports to: Shift Supervisor, Service Manager
Event Server Role Overview:
Event Servers at NEXUS Club must be adaptable and prepared to execute a wide range of event styles—from intimate, coursed wine dinners to large-scale receptions. Their primary responsibility is to provide exceptional, detail-oriented service that aligns with the club's standards and enhances the guest experience.
Event Servers must be professional, warm, and proactive, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and delivering timely, polished service. They must work cohesively with bartenders, chefs, and event managers while maintaining a clean, organized environment. Flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to adjust seamlessly to different service formats are key to success in this role.
Executing Service:

As an Event Server at NEXUS Club, your role is to support the success of any event by doing what’s needed—no matter the style or size. From elegant plated dinners to high-energy receptions, adaptability is key.
Before the Event:-
Review event details and assignments.

Help set up tables, stations, or buffets based on the event format.

Ensure all service areas are clean, stocked, and guest ready.

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive food and beverage service.

Follow proper service steps—whether that’s serving plated courses, passing hors d’oeuvres, or managing a buffet line.

Stay alert to guest needs and support your team wherever needed.

Clear and clean the event space quickly and efficiently.

Assist with breakdown and reset as directed.

Complete all closing tasks and check out with your supervisor.

Additional Duties:
- Ensure high quality of cleanliness and organization throughout the club
- Uphold Nexus Club’s Values and Mission Statement while performing positional responsibilities.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as stated in the company handbook.
- Perform other job-related activities as required or assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- A professional appearance which meets company grooming standards.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Flexible availability on a week-to-week basis based on the needs of the business.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required.
- At least 2 years of hospitality service experience. Experience with private clubs, fine dining, or luxury goods is preferred.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($30.00)
