Chef Rob Rubba's Hazel, the newest restaurant by Neighborhood Restaurant Group, is looking for enthusiastic individuals to be part of our team. Hazel is in the Atlantic Plumbing development in DC's Shaw neighborhood across from the 9:30 club and newly opened Landmark movie theatre. With an intimate 40 seat dining room and a 16 seat bar that opens up to the extensive patio, the restaurant appeals to nearly every facet of dining experience.
Hazel features progressive American cuisine - combining flavors from around the world with traditional and contemporary techniques to create dishes that are refined, distinctive, and satisfying. Chef Rubba has been showcasing his dishes such as Grandma's Zucchini Bread with Foie Gras Mousse and Gnocchi Bokki with Pork-Kimchi Ragu. From the custom designed tableware to the intricacies of tea and beverage service, each and every aspect of the dining experience is a personal and thoughtful reflection of Chef Rubba and his vision for Hazel. Complementing the menu is a focused beverage program from Greg Engert and Brent Kroll, emphasizing global flavors that set off Chef Rubba's cuisine.
