Nestled in the heart of Randolph Row, HIDE+SEEK brings comfortable elegance and playful design to West Loop. Our creative American shared plates menu incorporates touches from Spain, France, and Italy. The beverage program follows suit, and features fresh takes on classic cocktails and hand selected wines.

Exposed brick and rustic chandeliers intertwine with playful art and vibrant patterns in the two level restaurant, creating a refined but relaxed atmosphere. HIDE+SEEK is open 7 days a week for dinner and weekend brunch, which can be enjoyed inside or on our patio.

Responsibilities and Qualifications: 

• Professional and responsible for ensuring efficient order flow between waitstaff and kitchen, prioritizing orders, and assisting in final dish preparation.
• Ensures the smooth and timely flow of orders from waiters to the kitchen, checks dishes for accuracy and presentation, assists in final dish preparation, maintains fast service, handles customer complaints, and upholds quality and sanitation standards.
• Ensuring orders are being prepared with the correct priority
• Overseeing and coaching food runners 
• Works well in a fast-paced environment to get proper orders out faster and more efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in a restaurant’s hectic setting.
• Comfortable with constant motion and skills to coordinate and organize processes and people.
• Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature
• Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning
• Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff
• Proven experience as food expeditor or other restaurant position
• Experienced in using kitchen equipment or utensils and carry heavy trays
• Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
