Named after a town in the Hamptons, Sagaponack brings you fresh quality seafood, paired with refreshing crafted cocktails.

Our menu is inspired by a blend of Asian and Mediterranean flavors, reflecting our chef's background. We serve a diverse and exciting array of dishes that can take diners on a unique culinary adventure.

Chef

Chef Phil Choy worked at Dovetail, a 1 Michelin star restaurant after finishing culinary school. Following his time at Dovetail, he went to work at Boulud Sud. He worked his way up from a cook to sous chef. After years of working in fine dining, he worked a year in a soup kitchen. This culinary journey has deepened his love for the true essence of food.

Starting hourly rate: $21

Raises are given when proven to be able to work efficiently in all roles, including grill, fry, and garde mager.

Although skills are very important in culinary, we value attitude over any given talent.
 
Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
Qualification:
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Follows directions and instructions
