POSITION SUMMARY
Reservationists play a crucial role in ensuring unparalleled hospitality by facilitating guest reservations and inquiries, delivering exceptional service, and upholding the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Efficiently manage and organize dining reservations for multiple restaurants, closely monitoring and updating availability
- Receive and record dining reservations or respond to general inquiries via telephone or online reservation system
- Provide guest information about operating hours, rates, or quality of service
- Collaborate in printing and updating menus across multiple restaurants, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate with the team to ensure all printed materials, including menus and promotional materials, are up to date and readily available
- Accurately receive and process payment information for bookings
- Deliver excellent customer service and handling of all guest complaints, general feedback, and service requests
- Complete all assigned side work relevant to guest interactive service
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Consistently report to scheduled shifts on time and ready to work in proper uniform
- Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Minimum of two years' experience in a premium fine dining restaurant setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word; familiarity with design software such as InDesign preferred
- Exceptional phone etiquette and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in online reservation systems such as Resy or similar platforms
- Dedication to delivering exceptional dining service with a keen eye for detail
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Enthusiastic and outgoing demeanor, coupled with a customer-focused approach
- Team player capable of adapting to dynamic environments
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; Ability to stand for prolong periods of time and climb steps regularly.
- Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
COMPENSATION
The base pay range for this position is $19.00-$23.00 per hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
