Chef Andrew Carmellini and the front-of-house management team are seeking a dedicated and passionate Food & Beverage Manager to join them at Leuca in the The William Vale!

Inspired by Southern Italy, Leuca is a neighborhood restaurant from Chef Andrew Carmellini's NoHo Hospitality Group serving house-made pastas, wood-fired pizzas and rustic dishes in a sunlit corner space in Williamsburg.

Since opening in 2016, The William Vale has become a buzzing hub for Brooklyn visitors and locals to connect and recharge, whether that’s over a drink at the pool, a rooftop film screening, or dinner at Leuca. The William Vale is the ideal home base for visitors looking to experience the creative energy that makes our neighborhood so vibrant. Are you a seasoned restaurant manager with a sophisticated palate and a love for Italian cuisine? LEUCA is an authentic Italian restaurant renowned for its exquisite dishes and curated wine selection, and is looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Manager to join our passionate team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead by example, fostering a positive and energetic work environment. Motivate and inspire our team to deliver exceptional service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.
  • Operations: Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming and upscale atmosphere reflective of casual fine dining. Ensure that every aspect of our guests' experience, from the ambiance to the service, aligns with our commitment to excellence.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Dedicate yourself to providing an unparalleled dining experience. Address guest concerns promptly and ensure that our service consistently exceeds expectations.
  • Team Training & Leadership: Share your knowledge and expertise with our staff, conducting regular training sessions to enhance their understanding of wine pairings and service excellence. Lead a dedicated team of service professionals by fostering a culture of collaboration and passion for hospitality. Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance staff knowledge in both culinary and wine aspects.
  • Guest Relations: Develop and nurture strong relationships with our patrons. Solicit and respond to feedback, ensuring a personalized touch to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Ideal candidates possess:
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry with management experience.
  • Knowledge of Italian wines with the ability to lead pre-shift. 
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Help with staff development and training
  • A professional and polished approach to leadership.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the mentality of a team player.
  • The ability to comfortably lead a team in a busy atmosphere.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled with OpenTable and MICROS POS, a plus.
  • DOH Food Protection certified.
