Job Details
Highly-acclaimed NYC favorite Marea, from famed hospitality firm Altamarea Group and located in Central Park South, is looking for energetic & passionate FOH Floor / Dining Room Manager to join the team. Meaning “tide” in Italian, Marea redefines the seascape of high-end Italian cuisine offers employees the opportunity to work with quality Italian cuisine & wine/spirits, a respectful, safe, professional work environment, and a management team uniquely invested in the growth and success of all team members.

Floor Manager Responsibilities include:
• Train, develop, and motivate all staff
• Organize, supervise and execute shifts
• Deliver superior service and optimize client dining experience on a daily, consistent basis
• Demonstrate an emphasis on driving business while improving quality and guest retention
• Performing high level of customer/guest service and guest interaction by exhibiting a friendly personality and engaging guests consistently


Floor Manager Requirements:
• Must have open availability able to work flexible hours
• Strong background in fine dining and knowledge of service standards
• Adept with all restaurant technology (POS, purchasing, labor-management)
• Passion for the hospitality industry and providing great service
• Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work precisely
• Must be capable, trustworthy, have integrity, and have experience solving problems.
• Ability to train and encourage the restaurant staff
• Physical requirements include: ability to handle and carry trays, smallware, equipment, or other items up to 35lbs, and to stand, walk up and down stairs, and exert well-paced mobility for extended period of time
• Candidates should have an optimistic, positive disposition as well as an empathetic attitude
• Candidates should demonstrate creativity and a commitment to brand success
