Overview:

As the Service Director in our unique fine dining space at Los Gatos, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your leadership will drive the front-of-house team to deliver unparalleled service, creating memorable moments for our discerning clientele in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment.


Responsibilities:


Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide strong, inspirational leadership that embraces and celebrates a diverse team.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and teamwork, promoting inclusivity.
  • Train, and develop service staff from various cultural backgrounds, ensuring a harmonious and collaborative work environment.

Guest Experience:

  • Oversee the execution of impeccable service standards that respect and appreciate cultural nuances.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs promptly and with a personalized, culturally sensitive touch.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms that consider diverse perspectives to continuously enhance guest satisfaction.

Operational Excellence:

  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for service, incorporating flexibility to adapt to diverse guest preferences.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless coordination, respecting culinary traditions from various cultures.
  • Monitor and manage dining room reservations with flexibility to accommodate diverse dietary needs and preferences.

Wine and Beverage Program:

  • Oversee exceptional wine and beverage programs that considers the preferences of a culturally diverse clientele.
  • Train service staff on a wide range of beverage pairings, service techniques, and cultural considerations.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular inspections of the dining area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to cultural sensitivities.
  • Uphold the highest standards for food and beverage presentation, taking into account cultural aesthetics and customs.

Staff Development and Training:

  • Implement ongoing training programs that foster cultural understanding and sensitivity among the service team.
  • Conduct regular briefings to communicate menu changes, special promotions, and service expectations with a multicultural perspective.

Financial Management:

  • Collaborate with the Management team to develop and manage the departmental budget with consideration for diverse cultural influences.
  • Monitor and control operating costs, including labor, inventory, and breakage, while respecting cultural preferences.




Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, considering cultural practices.
  • Implement and enforce all relevant service-related policies and procedures, taking into account cultural diversity.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $90,000.00)

Benefits & Perks: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401k, Health Insurance. Retirement: 401(k) with matching contributions of up to 5% of your salary. Bonus
