Fasano Restaurants and Hotels is a Brazilian-based hospitality company specializing in boutique hotels and Italian restaurant concepts. Their first New York property, Fasano Fifth Avenue, is a full service boutique hotel, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Their first restaurant in New York is located in the heart of midtown East.The Guest Services Agent checks guests in and out of the hotel. This may include verifying guests' registration information, processing payments, issuing room keys, and directing guests to rooms.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and thanking guests in a sincere, friendly manner.
- Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure.
- Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts.
- Anticipating and addressing guests' needs, and resolving their problems and complaints.
- Assisting guests with disabilities.
- Operating telephone and assisting with inquiries.
- Assisting the reservations manager with taking reservations.
- Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Complying with company procedures and safety policies.
- Performing duties on a daily checklist.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or suitable equivalent.
- 1+ year of front desk agent experience preferred.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player.
- Physically agile, and able to stand for extended periods.
- Available to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays.
- Luxury hospitality experience preferred.
- Able to work flexible schedule in order to accommodate business levels.
- No visa sponsorship. Applicants must have US work authorization to be considered.
Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Company standards.
Languages: English is a must. Portuguese is a plus.
